The E-2 visa application involves different forms depending on where you are applying.
 
If you are applying from outside the U.S. you must complete Form DS-160 (online) and Form DS-156E
If applying to change your status within the U.S. you must file Form I-129. 
 
You will also need to submit the supporting documents like a comprehensive business plan, detailing the business you formed in the US, your investment, goals, and projected growth or success, and the detailed supporting/petition letter.
